There’s no iron law of the social media universe that says “words must be said, so it’s fine if they are inaccurate ones”. I know this is a revelation to many but it is actually possible to just not say things.

It does speak to an important point though: Sometimes, the real magic of disproving a conjecture comes not from superintelligence, but from brute-force normal intelligence.

As a person who was in med school—this isn't really accurate. A lot of these links are, as we now know with newer and better literature, better explained by grip strength (which, like obesity, is a proxy measure for many other underlying things). +

I feel ambivalence toward this—I think it’s better for people to have the ability to look at the raw material to be informed if they want to. The full compartmentalization has worse consequences at social scale.
