Little kids can run around anywhere and you'd better be ready to stop for them. People who use assistive devices to get around can take all the time they want to cross the street. Cars and bikes are built to go fast but you have no moral right to do so.

Everyone! The most important people in public are pedestrians. They don't need to watch out for you. Their safety is not a "shared responsibility." Let's get that straight right now.

Yeah, man, that was weird. Regular-type delegates had never heard of her and she walked in with the endorsement in hand, in a district that had about a billion great candidate options. So that was tremendous organizing in back rooms that the common people aren't privy to, and also a mistake.

And we can imagine that many parents encourage this situation because they are already buying their kids little kid-sized off-highway vehicles and snow machines and those amazing little battery-powered SUVs and Jeep toys for toddlers. Motonormativity, baby.

Cars and trucks are filthy polluting equipment that present existential threats to humanity. But I dislike volunteer roadway garbage pickup programs. If we're going to build our society around filth then let's toss off our pretense of civilization and steep in it.

Credit card companies are really desperate for new customers, now offering kiddie rates.

I've seen more boychild tweens on e-motorcycles in the last week than ever before in my life. I need everyone to understand that these are not e-bikes. And kids are crazy and shouldn't use electricity or gasoline to get around when they are in their peak muscle building years. Get off, boys.

Sounds like private colleges, whose PR departments continuously justify presidents' ridiculous salaries as "competitive with peer institutions" as if they're forced to be gross.

This is such a good question. Livable wages, solid benefits, rent and utilities, insurance and equipment...and the wholesale cost of good food? Pretty heady expenses.
