Just like Loose Change and all the 9/11 conspiracy theories. And like the gold standard/ shadow stats / hidden inflation nonsense. And almost every crazy conspiracy theory. They’re always a mishmash of badly thought out ideas, ready to ooze and reform as needed to avoid any sort of real analysis.

The usual commentary class thing of confusing their imaginations with reality. Like “conservatives are tough on deficits”, when that hasn’t been true since before Reagan (if ever).

It’s kind of staggering how many people don’t understand what literary criticism is. Everything is just tribalism and fandom (or haters).
