Every time I think of FIFA this comes to mind

Infantino is already trying to buy his way to getting what he wants with the $40m bribe he is offering all 211 federations to back him. Granted, UEFA are seemingly the "last, best hope" to blocking this - just feels wrong 😟

The football federations across the globe have allowed FIFA to become this rotten, money-driven cesspit, UEFA included ("Champions" League, anyone?). If they want to do something, then all federations should withdraw from FIFA - they need football, but football doesn't need them.

Bought my stepdaughter a car from the Abercynon site in January. She took it back to them several times to get faults fixed on it - the last time they punctured the pipe for the brake fluid and gave it back to her. Only got picked up at MOT. So lucky, she regularly drives our grandkids round. Avoid

Whilst welcoming any legal recognition of the abuse suffered by Ruth Ellis, David Lammy's statement, that the pardon "...replaces the death penalty with a sentence of life imprisonment to recognise a profound injustice in this exceptional case" is no help to anyone, least of all Ruth.

At the end of "An Audience with ..." Billy Connolly suggested replacing "God Save The King / Queen / Sex Pistols" with the theme tune from The Archers - a damn fine idea as it replaces the "da da da da" bit betwen the verses with "rum-ti-tiddly-rum-ti-tum-ti-tum" for the football fans.
