Can't help on the Steel thing but I have probably unrealistic dreams of him starting a process of rejoining the EU. Farage may be exposed by Ben Hebib of all people (look it up if you don't know) and if Farage was gone, many things would instantly become more realistic. That is my dream.

Then they need to be told what is required of them because there is no alternative progressive option. Greens are not big or organised enough so do you want Reform to just get in because there is simply no alternative. I don't.

That's why it's up to us to steer the party in the correct direction through force of will. We need to blitz them with our fundamental requirements because there is no real alternative right now, even in the Greens. So by giving up we allow Reform in by default. I can't tolerate that.

I am telling you now, it will not fix anything. It will just weaken their position. They will just go after whoever comes next because it worked this time. Starmer may be uncharismatic but he's not fundamentally immoral like Farage or Johnson or any right wing nutjob.

I literally don't care what Starmer wants. I know that this is what the people want and his job is to represent us. So if he needs to be told to do it then so be it. I think he would actually agree with that sentiment in truth. I do think he wants it though too. He's just afraid of the press.

I am totally with you on all that. Fuck the reaction from the press, this would fire up the base completely. I have been trying to find a way to communicate this to the Labour party. Something like a petition asking them to do it. I just don't know enough about how it all works.

The problem for me is that we are dooming ourselves. I truly believe changing leader will only have negative effects. Improve communications a shit load, talk about rejoining EU to fire up some passion and everyone gets squarely behind the plan. It's fixable.

I am. Biggest problem has been Comms from Labour and the fact that the media just seems fixated with Farage. The man has a whole TV channel just dedicated to him and he is using the dirtiest tricks to fool people about immigrants. He's been on Question Time more than any politician, ever it seems.
