He did this to keep rights away from his ex-wife. Then his son had his company license trademark rights to plaintiff's company, without hte knowledge of the co-owner. Then plaintiff sued the co-owner.

Facts are kind of convoluted but it looks like: plaintiff fudge company used the "Chocolate Moonshine Co." trademark, but had his son register the trademark in a different company co-owned by his son.

As far as I know, the person depicted is a private citizen who has no political power. They were captured on video at a moment of personal, vulnerable weakness. The president of the United States is exploiting that by humiliating her. What the fuck is wrong with him? What the fuck is wrong with you?

The motion to dismiss argues that "86 47" is a common political criticism of Trump that cannot be interpreted as suggesting violence. Even if it could be taken to mean a suggestion of violence, it's not a true threat.

In the quote post I made a joke about what would happen when these two ice cream brands are at the supermarket. Now I'm reading the opinion and I see that it genuinely happened and Van Leeuwen used it as evidence.
