Our problem was with something like func(a+3) ended up adding the constant twice. Once before pushing the value on the stack, then adding it again when popping the value off.

30 years ago myself and some colleagues spent some time chasing an odd bug. In the end we looked at the assembler emitted by Borland C++ and it was producing broken code. We were able to work around it by modifying our source code.

I spent time working with one of the OPL devs. Not sure if it shipped, but it was ported to some of the Symbian based phones.

Back in 2000, I spent a few months working in deepest darkest Finland. The only non mad thing on tv was the BBC world news channel. The tune was the same or very similar to now. So I kind of get a bit nostalgic when I hear it.
