Watching the Masters of the Universe movie and it’s pretty fun and funny. But what’s maddening is that there was no reason to have cast Jared Leto as Skeletor AT ALL. Like, he’s playing the character so arch and plummy but I couldn’t tell you why he was needed for this role specifically.

The psychiatrists I work for work with ASD with ID (intellectual disability) child/adolescent kids and it's terrifying that once they age out of those supports, there are little to no adult supports for them. It's terrible because these kids don't just disappear at 18; they still need help.

Re LRP: I've mentioned before that I don't have a relationship w/my dad but it was never for lack of trying on my part. He's narcissistic, centers only himself, and much to my irritation, ladles guilt on my younger sister about the lack of contact between us. I let that relationship go and no regret

Therapists are a lifesaver for those of us who spent years and years trying to salvage a relationship with an indifferent parent, thinking "if I just do X more then they'll want to spend time with me."
