My experience growing up in the County is there were a fair amount of Jewish people who'd been there since the early 1900s, & we knew them individually as people, so didn't think of them as "Jewish" even though there was a small temple in PI. Same thing w/ the Christian Lebanese community up there.

He's been in the state legislature. In fact he was the senate president for 6 years before he termed out. You really don't know anything about Maine, do you, dear?

You have no idea what deference the media in Maine gives Collins. Platner was subject to intense scrutiny, distortions & innuendo & ratfucked by national media. Collins, meanwhile, gets off scot free for her personal life. It's NOT misogynistic to hold her to the same standard as Platner.

Oh please. You have no idea who Jackson is, do you? He's been a state legislator for over 20 years. He's thoroughly well known here. No one's been "waiting" for him.

When Collins said she didn't regret her vote for Kavanaugh, she cited Maine's protection for abortion rights, saying the repeal of Dobbs doesn't affect us here. We can thank Troy Jackson for that. As senate president, he shepherded those protections through passage.

There's no need to put Platner down. He set up the field so that Troy can pick up the baton and carry on the movement. We're immensely grateful to Graham here in Maine for all he's done to start a movement. He worked his ass off for us, and we don't appreciate outsiders insulting him.

This is just a small sample of what Troye has done for Maine.

Why on earth would we be contrite? We're grateful to Graham for setting the stage for Troy to pick up the baton & run, angry he was ratfucked out of the race & hopeful & ready to work so that Graham's vision of a movement of Maine working people will be achieved. You can stew in your own juices.
