Impressive images, Craig! Of the ones I don’t recall having seen, the iced river is my favorite. And now, my old, dusty designer hat: Overall, nicely presented. Make the vertical space above each photo consistent. “Madness” is missing a letter. Bold all the titles. And check for missing periods.

There were plenty of arsonists starting wildfires a half century ago, at least in California. The difference now, I think, is how far and how fast fires spread. I’m not a scientist, but I can see connections between those shifts and climate change.

IMO, if a governmental entity posts to one social media platform, it needs to post to them all. Especially posts about people’s safety.

The first image is a screenshot of a very long error message apparently related to an Arcgis webpage, a mapping service used by government agencies and other institutions. The second is a screenshot of a Facebook post by Jackson County Oregon Sheriff, basically saying to trust them, not Watch Duty.

It could be a trove of stories. But seeing the gif made me realize that the job entailed blocking out the sound of many other operators talking, while focusing in on your earphone. I wouldn’t last a half day!
