"Galaxy Weaver" 16"x20" Acrylic on reclaimed canvas @echomary.bsky.social used to do space art as a younger person, so I adopted this old Butterfly Nebula piece of theirs and made it new. A collaboration across time... and space!!

hooooooly shit we got a BOOTH for #FurtherConfusion next year!!! Echo and I are already brainstorming to make our space an experience, an immersive time with live art and atmosphere... this is lighting a fire under me to improve our setup SO THANKFUL for the staff of FC giving us this space!

Here's a great example of why I don't use markers in my mixed media process anymore. These were Tombow dual brush pens on a gessoed/acrylic primed wood panel. First one: 2023 Second: 2026 Only the acrylic paint remains-- all trace of marker has faded into nothing.
