Demoralizing the most reasonable Dem on gun rights is gone. He wasn’t even that pro gun, only in contrast to Dem politicians. His campaign was fairly moderate, just against new bans. Even some of the MOST left wing Dems like Mamdani are liberal on this issue and in lockstep with establishment Dems.
