Really grateful to have met Hokao-san and the teams at GAAJ and ePARA at EVO Japan. So much passion, care, and dedication to making games more accessible, it was genuinely inspiring to see firsthand. Looking forward to continuing the conversation and supporting the important work they’re doing.

Had the chance to work at the Arc System Works booth on Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls at EVO Japan. Listening to player feedback and watching people get hands-on was incredibly valuable, and had a lot of fun working alongside colleagues from Arc System Works and XDEV Japan! 💙

A really special visit to Sony City, thank you to Nishikawa-san for the warm welcome. Inspiring to see the history and the people driving accessibility forward across Sony, it’s left me feeling motivated to keep pushing my own work further.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be in Japan with work from April 25th to May 9th 🇯🇵 I'll be based in Tokyo and will also be attending EVO Japan on May 1st and 2nd, and would love to connect with folks working in accessibility, UX, and game development while I’m in town. 🤟

Moving from a Deaf setting, I felt “dinner table syndrome”, isolated in a hearing space. My team stepped up: Deaf awareness, round tables for lip-reading, learning BSL, and interpreters at SIE events. BSLGG matters to me because I don't want aspiring Deaf game Devs to feel isolated or locked out.

Thinking about Magnemites. 🧲⚡

I loved the Deaf representation in Episode 2 of Starfleet Academy through the character Emrin Sadal, played by Anthony Natale. Three moments that genuinely made me smile: Firstly, his children are CODAs (Children of Deaf Adults), meaning their first language is Betazoid Sign Language.

Really enjoying Starfleet Academy! I've seen some comments deriding a couple of cadets, saying that the academy is only for the "Best and Brightest". Let's not forget that school is where we go to become our best and brightest and a great place of learning helps bring out the best in you. 🖖

Today I was diagnosed with ADHD, and there is a quiet joy in learning that the many pieces of me I thought did not belong together were never from different puzzles at all. I was simply missing the picture they were meant to form.

Feeling pretty proud on myself, im now the lightest I've been since I started tracking my weight back in 2019. Still a long road ahead but feeling upbeat and positive about it. 💙
