Something that's really funny about Amnesty caving to JKR's threats of lawsuits is that it shows that literal fascist dictators and corrupt politicians have better things to do with their lives than feel threatened by human rights orgs.

haha I managed to delete 5 years of Patreon work by accident while cleaning my proton drive haha well, I guess that if anyone ever points out any errors I've made on those pinups and comics, I literally can't go back and edit them anymore hahahaha thank fuck I didn't lose any active projects haha

You might think that's bad, but when my older brother built his house, he insisted on having floating stairs leading up to his loft living room. Which technically was an improvement on his first idea, which was a spiral staircase, also without railings. And no, the loft never had railings either.

Will be opening commissions fairly soon, but not that many slots. Gonna try to ensure that I can keep things proportional to my other obligations.

The new Avatar movie (not the one with the blue space cats) was absolutely gorgeous. Incredibly beautiful art and animation and the action scenes go so hard. Story was on par with ATLA, so not half-bad but there's some stuff that Konietzko and DiMartino really need to drop from the franchise.

When I went to college during the heyday of the 7th gen, opinions like this were treated like witchcraft and heresy among the teachers. It's really no wonder that I became severely burnt out on both games and academia after I graduated lmao.

I genuinely can't get over just how stupid it is to call this "orientalist." Taking inspirations from another culture and making something new isn't orientalist. *Misusing* something from another culture or introducing your own wrong ideas into depictions of that culture *is.*

Btw, I'm not saying this to trash on ATLA or the new show and movie, both of which I'm excited to watch. I just wanted to add the context that this franchise has never been so "culturally sensitive" that creating a new language is somehow the orientalist straw that broke the sky bison's back.
