Pretty bored by ODYSSEY discourse at this point tbh. If the movie were better I’d have more patience for all the back-and-forth

I only heard it when a bar act covered it, I thought it was catchy & looked it up & of course Miranda Lambert was a cowriter
Parker MolloyI have never once heard this song. I have never heard of this artist. Is it because I'm getting older or because there's not much of a monoculture anymore?

EMILY WILSONThere is a lot to say about the Nolan Odyssey movie. But one point that I think has not been emphasized enough is: this is a film about living in LA, as Nolan, my erstwhile British compatriot and age mate, has done for years. I gather it’s a strange place.
Gratified to see that the bluesky mods have labeled our promo stills “graphic media” 🫀

We should always be talking about Charles Busch
juan barquinMy piece on sincerity and camp, as well as how an artist can elevate reference and pastiche into something truly original, has arrived on MUBI's Notebook! I love John Early's Maddie's Secret so much and it was a delight to write about it and the beautiful lineage of comedy and drag it's a part of.
Delightful. Reminded me of seeing BARB AND STAR for the first time, but make it theatrical. I’m a Deutch skeptic but she makes a damn good Dorothy Gale. Her best performance since that one Ed Sheeran video
J.D. ConnorThrough some miracle and a huge risk by the studio Gail Daughtry and The Celebrity Sex Pass is in theaters this weekend. Go see it. It’s extremely funny and comedy is funnier with an audience. Zoey Deutch is perfect.
