It shows that we need major reform to close loopholes in laws. McConnell isn’t the first senator to have major health problems. Remember the woman that was found to be in a dementia facility. We should be able to kick these people out. But as it stands now, there is nothing that allows that.

I don’t doubt they want some type of catastrophic event. But not to declare a state of emergency. That does nothing to elections. But because they believe that would improve his approval ratings. Look what happened to GWB. He was sinking before 9/11. That is what got him a second term.

AI is a net negative to society. It takes and takes while doing nothing positive for the average American.

A governor has zero legal authority to do that.

He has no legal authority over a senator to demand or require anything. As a blue governor in a red state, he’s handling this exactly as he should.

Schools where I live already do this. They are not allowed at all in elementary. Middle and high school can have them but they must remain put away until the day is over. The irony being that teachers will ask them to pull them out to look stuff up or use the calculator.

He’s a blue governor in a deep red state. If he takes illegal action against McConnell, he will be voted out and they will vote in a republican governor. What he’s doing is the correct way to handle this.

It doesn’t matter what you or I believe. The law says that until McConnell is dead or resigns the seat is his. And it hurts republicans to not have his vote in the senate. And we can speculate all we want, there is no proof he’s dead.

I think that’s what people don’t get. He’s a blue governor in a deep red state. He’s not going to mess that up or he will be booted.

How does it benefit republicans to be down a vote in the senate. And the seat isn’t open. Until McConnell dies or resigns it’s still his seat.
