I pulled our copy from the shelf to fact check my recollection, thinking as an adult I would be immune to such horrors, but no. It is terrifying. I genuinely cannot look at it for more than a few seconds without feeling my heartrate skyrocket in fear. I loathe this lizard. It is my enemy.
