Last week I went to watch the Odyssey and I fell asleep. I woke up still in the theater on Saturday and found Telemachus wearing a Spider-Man costume. Weird week.

This is another gap year for the Kings but at the end of the season a ton of $ drops off and abundant cap space appears. As I result have some thought to how do we make this learning/ building year fun.

Is anyone else excited about the possibility the Kings might run a double high post with Sabonis and Raynaud? Is anyone else worried that the above could start along side Acuff and Zach. If they do Murray needs to be a first team all NBA defender

40 hours left until LaVine and the Kings have to announce they are extending his opt in time

108 hours until LaVines opt in/ out deadline

Projected roster ages at start is season with no old guys and 2 projected but not absolute returnees. 29 Hunter 28 Plowden 27 Achiuwa 26 Murray 25 Cardwell 24 Clifford Carter 23 Raynaud Karaban 22 Sharp 19 Acuff Not Young but not old.

As it gets closer Flemings just seems to me to have every tool you need and a great team mindset.

Monk and Hunter could really strengthen the bench for some team. I wonder what is the best deal the Kings could get for them.

Hear me out, if the Kings trade for Fox and get the 3 firsts people say they would need to include to get off his contract then the Kings would have received 4 firsts just to give Fox the money they would have had to give him to stay in the first place.

Saddest thing about being a Kings fan is that I don’t even hope they’re good next year; I just hope they are headed in the right direction.

The Kings owe 125 million in Salary for 27-28 plus about another 8 for the first round. This includes Murray’s pay raise. If you cut DeRozan it cost 10, stretch Zach is 16.3 total 160 million. I would let teams know we could let them salary dump into that space if it came along with 2 FRPs.

Am I the only Kings fan that worries since Harden is playing so poorly in the playoffs that Vivek is going to try to acquire him?

Not saying it’s the smart move but if the Kings can’t get traction trading DeRozan and LaVine they can save 17 million off the cap by cutting DeRozan and 32 million by cutting and stretching Zach. That’s 49 off the cap with a 16 million hit in 27 and 28.

I will feel good if the Kings land Flemings or Acuff in the draft. The only thing I am 100% sure of is that whichever one they land the other one will be better.
