Here’s another critical step: Don’t charge routine expenses (e.g. subscriptions of all types) on a card with a balance. It’s very difficult to pay off a card with lots of new spending each month… you have to cover those costs PLUS the interest, PLUS the “pay-down” amount. It’s a hamster wheel.

Somebody tell Hakeem that the only way to ensure “good quality health care” for everyone is for the government to provide it. Otherwise we’re all subject to the Lowest Bidder problem with insurance, especially those who work for smaller companies (which is almost half of private-sector employment).

Impossible to tell if it’s “correct.” It’s never been tried or tested. It sounds good, but there’s probably no law nor precedent to definitively say something like that.

Weak sauce. These things are the bare minimum. How about championing universal health care? Where’s the talk of shutting down ICE? When is someone going to pledge to hold the Miller administration accountable?
