The primary US anti-trafficking law defines all sex work as trafficking but only criminalizes “severe” forms of trafficking that include force, fraud, or coercion. Turns out this is so that fewer migrant sex workers can access the services & visa process available to trafficking survivors.

If you have a harassment complaint, you may feel alone without knowing that others have come before you. You may not be alone at all.

There is no such thing as "supporting" S/x workers while punishing buyers. Punishing buyers typically means policing them. Policing buyers means surveilling workers. Period. You cannot separate the two. Police surveillance IS policing. So policing buyers IS policing workers.
