Assets that I made for the 2024 Roguelike Celebration Steam sale page. 🧑🎨 The tallish tile size here I'm very fond of. I choose it because it reminds me of the tall grid often in ASCII roguelikes, but it also had some benefits when it came to actually draw the tiles & sprites.

To make this picture, I used my own text mode environment/editor called Textor with the help of an image converter I also made. From left to right, the original picture, a modified one in Gimp for better conversion, the conversion result and the final picture polished by hand/keyboard.
