Prompt 1. Bug is cozy from k0.za #julybugweek! I wanted to practice painting with acrylic gouache and k0.za has always been a big inspiration of mine. I often get pretty hung up on making bugs scientifically accurate, but for this list I just let go and had fun with it.

This heat makes me want to jump in an ocean somewhere! Dreaming of the day I can look for fossils and run around in the waves ☀️🌊

Acrylic gouache is really good at this imo! It layers well and is super opaque. I had to edit the eyes a bit on my ipad so some of it IS digital, but for the most part it's just paint

Airports are so equally annoying and wonderful to me. The amount of people and noise deeply overwhelms me, but as soon as I get to the boarding area with the big windows I feel like an excited kid again. Airplanes will never fail to fill me with excitement and awe, like what do you mean we can fly!?

I love how one of the most shared experiences of childhood is staring out the car window and creating your own little world to pass the time
