Taco Bell actually recalled their lettuce without being told to do so by the FDA because of this quote

A system in which resources are extracted and redistributed to inefficient and often stagnant economic vectors. This already-inefficient system is also often upended by random fluctuations that have less rhyme and reason than why some farts are smelly and some aren't.

I just feel like we have cultural amnesia or some shit bc they do this every time and people respond, credulously, every single time

drug infested?? the local librarians won't even let me do lines of coke in Meeting Room 2 anymore! to be fair they said it's because they're too busy using Meeting Room 2 for their orgies, but i know my rights goddammit

lying about the union's demands on Reddit. The reactionary response was that the employees were "entitled kids," but that line of attack rang hollow in the face of the strikes, and we even got some of the scabs to walk out. Even with the outcome, we learned a lot. Solidarity forever 🌹✊

we picketed in large numbers (100+ people across 2 days). Sadly, the shop still closed but we got a lot of attention from the local news and on local social media. Convincing locals that the "progressive" owner would actually bust up a union was difficult, especially since she had agitators

Shared the union's post and commented on the shop's posts. We recently dealt with a similar situation, "progressive" coffee shop owner shut down indefinitely for "renovations" when the unionized employees approached with demands. Employees went on strike and

we just don't have time for this shit. We cannot burn resources and goodwill on people who are obviously shitty candidates from the get-go, I don't care how much of a man crush you have on them

plus his pedigree of portraying dudes who get lost in the extreme environments imaginable

oh, I've seen a case like this before unfortunately, being buried under stuffed animals has a 100% fatality rate fortunately, it was rated by other doomed souls as "the best way to go, bar none"

what about how Jason can be in space

States send money and supplies to Israel every single year. While the exact figures for each state are obscured by the method of financing, CA sends at least several tens of millions of dollars to Israel each year. It's probably best to not speak authoritatively on things you don't understand.

The village I visited had indoor plumbing before the White House and were thriving at the same time my hometown was temporarily abandoned to let a cholera outbreak burn itself out, leaving the dead piled in the town square because they didn't know what else to do with all of them

Went for a tour of a local Shaker village and learned that Shakers didn't get cholera basically ever because they believed in washing their hands, indoor plumbing, and social distancing (yes really)

It helps more than if Mamdani had allowed someone to take a run at Jeffries and then lost. By not explicitly flexing his influence and keeping the primary challenges focused on weak seats with lazy Dems, Jefferies is forced to admit that Mamdani does have influence while remaining unsure of how much

damn, you're right. i guess journalists don't actually need strong protections then!

That's exactly what I did when I joined DSA a few months ago (on your advice!) A bunch of events and one chapter convention later, and now I'm the chapter's deputy labor chair and the head of our resolution review board. Putting myself out there was hard, but it's been so incredibly worth it.
