Reaching for a star ✨ This one turned out christmassy and summery at the same time. Did you know that Christmas in July is a thing? Consider this my contribution 🎄

This one started as a drawing in my sketchbook, and then she blossomed into a digital painting 🌸 Still on my lifelong quest to paint the roundest, chunkiest, most squishable roses.

It’s warm again and I’m craving the beach. But not just any beach. Specifically a beach with beautiful cliffs, crystal clear ice-cold water, and vibrant green algae. I don’t live near one of those so I will draw it instead 🌊

perspective is so hard, i just avoid it for the most part haha.

Wrinkles and textured skin are beautiful, vibrant, and full of life. Folds and loose skin have beautiful shapes and volumes. If you view aged skin through the eyes of an artist, you gain a deep appreciation of its beauty 🖤

Listen, I’m still afraid of inks because they’re so permanent. But I’m trying to embrace them more and be a bit bolder with them. Baby steps!

i've hard similar things, that it's particularly hard to get a foot in as a junior right now.

yeah. i can imagine that crunch time and an unstable hyper-competitive industry filters people out who just want to live a normal stable life.

the tech is changing so fast, i can image this affects people who are used to a different workflow.

that's a really interesting perspective, haven't really looked at it that way! but as a very young industry maybe there is a lack of understanding and respect for seniority.

that actually makes me so sad, imagine having decades of experience and not being seen as an asset with all that wisdom.
