Flood's closing comments included "I know I didn't answer all your questions to your satisfaction," which is both surprisingly self-aware since he rarely answers questions at all, and laughable. 😵‍💫 I really do think he enjoys hearing himself talk and giving himself kudos.

What I will say for this guy is he's very good at turning every question into an opportunity to pat himself on the back.

"Let's clap for the men and women that work at the VA!" -This was in response to comments about the exorbitant costs of the Iran War, Homeland Security, and the ballroom.

When have you changed your mind bc of a town hall? "Last year in Seward..." an obscure niche problem with someone's Social Security is mentioned. Will there be a govt shutdown in 2026? "I hope not!"
