Saw a sign saying "I am the way...etc." spray painted on a wall, realized that saying that to someone who hasn't accepted the implied faith is a spiritual violation. Jesus was saying this to *his disciples* to instill confidence. That phrase shouldn't be shoved on someone without prior relationship.

It's an experience. I think this is one reason I tend to prefer to work very slowly around people. Sometimes I feel like picking up social cues is overwhelming, so it's either a deluge of over-information or blindness. And there are times I'd rather be blind.
