Last night in Kansas, and we won! — and our whole presence was redundant, maybe, languishing as we were among the suburbs with our flyers and what not, and yet we won! and lo, the celebrations, and though my bosses take their leave too soon, the barkeep is quite fun, though she is married. :(

Hypothesis: mandatory reading lists are created by joyless nincompoops and/or sadists. 👀 I had the same issue in my Russian high school: it was nothing but depressing 19th-century Russian literature, most of it written by sad slaveowners. 🤮 (Rot in hell, Tolstoy.) That killed my love of reading. 🙁
