Liverpool really need one defender. It is most likely hybrid CB/RB. Without a functioning midfield, the attackers can’t go their jobs.
Once Jones and Mac Allister leaves, I still think that Liverpool will sign midfielders.
I do not blame Slot on not overplaying Rio and Nyoni especially with our bad structure with Slot absolutely contributed because he was a poor coach and terrible work ethic.
Given how average overrated homegrown players are costing stupid money, I think that Nyoni stays along with Koumas, Chambers,
Elliott and Jones are still leaving. Given that Elliott has one year, I think that he is gone.
In addition, the briefs earlier in the window specifically mentioned Mac Allister’s future. I assumed that he is on sales list.
If Liverpool signs the hybrid RB/CB, you have a one defender. That’s good enough.
The midfield is still biggest problem. Jones and Mac Allister needs to be moved on. I’m sad saying about Mac Allister because it is not his fault.

Frankly, Frimpong is better than Bradley.
