I discovered Vasco Road 2 years ago, when I started Uber driving. It’s become one of my favorite rides. I was fascinated with those turbines when I was a kid. Now I drive right up to them. And I’ve never seen a dead bird….not one.

So funny. I JUST came home from an outing. Took a shortcut through the Altamont pass from Livermore to Brentwood California. That pass is a huge windmill farm. Been there for 50 years. They’ve always been a welcome landmark for me.

I had the measles at 15 yo. My temp spiked to a dangerous level…..it’s those high temps that kill…..on top of just being miserable….i do not understand why any parent would willing let their child suffer like that? (I was vaccinated…..it’s rare but it does happen)

I’m that rare 3%er who got the measles, even though I was vaccinated. I was 15, and miserable. 105 temp, vomiting, itchy and a bronchial cough… My youngest child is 29, eldest is 47….its been awhile since I’ve dealt with their vaccinations. But you can believe, I’d follow the science
