I guess I'm politically naïve. I thought the point of the delegate convention in ME was to pick a candidate. Not have the delegates going already pledged to someone. I thought the candidates might speak further at the convention, and then voted on. This doesn't feel good.

I was thinking g this would be an open co mention in Maine. I'll vote Dem, but I'm not feeling good about this process.

I find it odd that Mitch's 'proof of life' post didn't mention anything about Lindsey's death.

Someone floated Jared Golden as someone to replace Platner here in Maine...to which I say not just no but HELL NO. Might as well reelect Collins in that case. He's been as useless as they come as a Dem.
