This isn't something that I'd think would need to be said, but based on an email I just received, apparently it does: Insulting a magazine and/or their EiC in a response to a rejection isn't a good way to get published by that magazine.

I was finally able to find dairy free plain yogurt so I'm making chicken tikka masala for the first time in nearly a year. I'm also going to try to make gluten free, dairy free naan. This could end up a complete mess, but I am so excited!

Still on my Godzilla kick. Going all the way back to Godzilla Raids Again (1955). Since I'm home now, rather than visiting my parents, I'll probably try to watch them in order.

What is strangest reason why you DNF'd a book? I recently DNF'd a book only 40 pages in because a character ended up naked in front of his nieces two different times! His nieces were 7 and 17. Learn to lock a door, bro!

I swear sometimes my fingers type words that I'm not intending, but since they are real words spell check doesn't flag them. When I read it back, I get a strange surprise. Just now while working on copy edits: I meant to type "slow the pacing" and what I actually typed was "slap the pacing."

My anxiety is like off the charts bad this week and this evening I want to read a sweet, but very spicy romance. A book that brings me so much joy that I'll want it to go on forever but that I can finish in a night or two. I have Kindle Unlimited and I need your recommendations.

I'm watching Blood for Dracula (1974) tonight. First couple minutes and, wow, the lighting is terrible! Udo Kier is stunning though.

I used to function on very little sleep most days. Like 5 hours sleep a night tops. For years. I slept really poorly last night and maybe got 4 hours of sleep and I'm barely functional today. I've been close to tears all day and, honestly, nothing feels real. How did I function all those years?
