Having trouble walking as usual and wondering if it’s more about PD or more because the sidewalks here look as though they are from an active war zone.

Anyway, shout out to my mother for pressuring me for like a year to see a neurologist.

Phrasing is maybe a little weak for someone told this by three-ish physicians at this point. 🤪

Might be a good time to share: I seem to have Parkinson’s/YOPD. I have been on (a form of) carbidopa/levodopa for a month. I have probably been sick at least a year. PD sucks, but the treatment-response is a blessing. Overall I am very optimistic.

In the spirit of Tisha b’Av, I have been dealing with a fair bit of mourning lately. The timing of some of it is almost funny.

Feeling some vindication over preferring to use frozen vegetables for my normal cooking.

Pickled onions are very good on pizza.
