It’s hard not to see NCTE’s decision to de-charter CCCC as particularly disastrous as attacks on academic freedom and shared governance escalate. Conservative politicians across the country have successfully exerted more and more control over curricula at universities across the country.

In a few minutes, Auburn's Board of Trustees will vote on a proposal to dissolve our Faculty Senate and revamp our Core Curriculum. Faculty weren't given any notice and have had zero input on these changes.
