Mostly just want to know if this is something that feels passionate. Are they telling their own story and carving out something fresh, or is this mostly familiar and a bit by the numbers. Additionally, how is the music? Any standout moments where combat and music had that magic handshake?

Should have protested it years ago when it truly mattered imo. When PC did it. When xbox fired their physical media teams. Folks warned there was an iceberg and everyone ignored them. Now the ship is already sinking and we want to petition against the rising water. Shame.

Microsoft should exit the gaming industry and preferably my plane of existence. If BDS was not enough to convince sideliners, what MS did to id is unforgivable. Perhaps the most important western gaming studio in existence - a historied house of culture and art with genre defining talent.

Sobering indeed. Its been some rough days. Honestly, i admire you for speaking up & engaging w/ this industry, its media & fans. I know trolls take their toll, but i have learned quite a bit from your willingness to wrestle with it all and trade ideas w/ people who oppose your own. Hang in there!

So much discourse in gaming rn. I enjoy hearing and giving opposing ideas tho, it reveals cracks in my own bias and informs me of others lived experience. We need to argue, & doing it w/o insults is a good practice imo. Blocking folks for basic opinions is just not it. Echo chambers serve nobody.

I think in the context of how fragile the assurance to continue existing is within xbox, being “late and over budget” for Arkane hits pretty different. I think a lot of us are worried how significantly that situation could impact them rn so i mean fairly reasonable to focus in on it.
