(3/5) That’s on top of Carney’s plan to build a new pipeline prior to consulting with Indigenous peoples, which violates his constitutional duty to obtain their free, prior and informed consent. Carney’s plan is accelerating the climate emergency fueling these wildfires while violating human rights.

(2/5) But rather than protecting northern communities and preventing toxic wildfire smoke throughout our cities, the Liberals have cut wildfire response staff by nearly 50%.
