Yes that’s pretty standard for these kind of claims. Some demonstrated link but blown out of all proportion in terms of treatment implications (not just for human health issues either)

I feel quite confident saying that anytime someone is claiming that one gene/drug is a secret miracle cure for a range of complex diseases that science has callously ignored it’s extremely unlikely to be true, especially when it touches on a buzzword (cortisol)
