Reactor Magazine"The houses are heterosexuality, and they’re trying to kill you!" @readingtheend.bsky.social reviews Cynthia Gómez's gothic tale of a woman paralyzed by a strange illness, and the witch who pledges to save her.
OK, I'm trying to shore up my knowledge of the Gothic and Weird horror canon. Currently reading this nearly-forgotten vampire story, also planning on Dracula, Frankenstein, The King in Yellow, and Rebecca. Would love recommendations for pre-Victorian or 20th century books to add to my list.
