Mommy Update: Today, we roll up our area rugs and put protective cloth on all the furniture. Tomorrow, boot camp begins. Bee will be potty trained by the start of next week. This is the way.

Mommy Update: Things are looking up for next weekend’s boot camp. Bee: (walks over to her potty and sits) I poop on the potty. Me: Can mommy check your diaper? Bee: (Pushing me away) NO—I poop on the potty. And she did. She pooped in her diaper while sitting on the potty. We’re almost there.

Bee was up all night with a summer cold, which means *I* was up all night dealing with her summer cold, and now I have to get through my aunt’s funeral with a pounding headache while hoping the nausea doesn’t kick back in. Just one of them days.

We bury my great-aunt today.
