Sigh I love wasting my life away in front of my magic mirror that shows me endless dreams and fantasies

What is the term for this kind of media? Cute appearance but contains lots of esoteric & disturbing images. Characters often have to directly spell out what they feel and want because there isn't enough time to "show not tell." I feel like my work fits into this lmao
