if politicians wanted to help people, they would have done it by now!!!

there’s an idea floating around that unhoused people have access to infinite resources. but if you ever attended a sweep, you’d quickly realize the state offers the unhoused population violence and little else.

Criminalizing people for existing in public is fascism.

the dehumanizing rhetoric people use about the unhoused is just a way to comfort themselves, to mentally separate themselves from actual reality: we are all closer to the streets than we imagine. people experiencing homelessness are workers, parents, children, elders.

A sweep is a sweep. Enough double speak.
