I really enjoyed this conversation with @polphilpod.bsky.social about the recent abandonment of "free enterprise" as a pillar of conservatism, something that I wrestled with in the epilogue to my 2019 book, but which is even more interesting to ponder during the second Trump administration.

Hard to say which is more glaringly revealed in this episode: Trump’s narcissism or his corruption. Both should absolutely be disqualifying.
