I had a lot of fun streaming Fanfest and FFXIV things yesterday but... oh man I am way too tired to actually play some FFXIV on stream today. Gonna postpone finishing up Eden raids until 2 weeks from now (after I'm back from family stuff), and go get some rest...

Ah, so the primary principle of Final Fantasy ("Every game is the worst game and every game is the best game") applies to the content WITHIN a Final Fantasy! Every raid story is at least a little bad! Every raid story is at least a little good! Which ones and how much? Well, that's personal.

I had to type up some of the stuff on the slides that wasn't shown in full on stream but I think this is really good information to know regarding feedback for xiv with criticism, disatisfaction (and satisfaction) and how its handled, in particular the final slide.

Props to those of you that are choosing to stay up all night and take in the FFXIV FanFest Keynote! Cuz of my time zone, I will be going to be early and waking up early, because it starts at 5 AM for me and that is SURPRISINGLY REASONABLE for my early-rising ass! Gonna stream my reactions too!

Oooh, so I'm not the only one that's been visited by the hungry bots! That's kind of encouraging. I posted a homemade burger and some roasted potatoes and my notifs were busted for 48 hours....

TBH fandom communities are pretty localized to sections of social media, there's lots of smaller community segments, right? I do LIKE the bsky FFXIV enthusiasts! I just feel like I'm not a proper part of them cuz half my focus here is on my VTubing, too, lol....

I will always be grateful for FFXIV for giving me a fandom I cam share with lots of others and a thing I love enough to get me to start streaming! I've made such nice friends! But I feel like I'm not really part of the "community", sometimes? Like I'm just on the edges going "yay", idk?
