Women & girls who get caught up in trafficking are vulnerable through systemic racism, addiction, poverty, foster care, or bad boyfriends. There is a societal vibe that they somehow deserve it or are less deserving of protection. That’s bullshit. We have to take care of each other again.

It’s so strange that Indigenous men have been contacting me about helping protect Indigenous women while I have begged a singular white man for months to help with the issue.
