It's actually very simple to do in Blender! Just a plane with a glass+transparent material, volume and noise displacement. Some dynamic painting for the ripples around the Hesperornis on the surface and that's it.

You're looking at an "Upside Down Jellyfish" (genus Cassiopea) & I think you can guess how they got their name. This is them most of the time: Not only tentacles up, but on the sea floor. But that's not the interesting thing. The interesting thing is they have no brain, but still can sleep.

Some work has fallen through, so I need some new freelance work asap. Please share if you can 😊
