Congratulations to @abdulelsayed.bsky.social for securing the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate in Michigan! STANDING AGAINST GENOCIDE IS GOOD POLICY AND GOOD POLITICS!

Just so everyone knows, this is a tried-and-true mainstream media tactic. For progressives/leftist candidates, every election is a “crucial test” and any loss would serve as proof to the media that the latest left-side moment is at its end. Any win, though, just means it’s time to find a new test.
PoliticoMichigan will provide another crucial test of whether progressives can not only keep up their winning streak in safe-blue seats but also break through in battlegrounds crucial for control of Congress. The stakes for the Democratic Party are huge.
May be wrong here, but my sense is there is a whole media apparatus that aggressively screens Dem candidates and cautions voters not to support the more left-wing candidate. And this is asymmetric. Credible media messengers don't police right-wing candidates the same way.

Folks I won’t tell you not to feel your feelings, but this is rage bait. He’s talking about expanding beyond politics into things like live sports.

And I'd do it again And again And again Don't wanna lose your kid as an adult? Don't be a shitty parent. It's not hard.
Meggie ZAnother classic case of “sucks to suck”.
I genuinely think the Haley Stevens might have the dirtiest campaign of the 2026 election cycle.
Brandy ZadroznyGet in, there’s a new secret political influence campaign paying people to post. This time, a network targeting people in Michigan. First paid to post about how hard it is to afford groceries and gas, the accounts have gone hard in recent days, supporting Haley Stevens. www.ms.now/news/haley-s...
