This was Miller at possibly his best in the short form category. #startrek

The cover had me expect another kind of story but that was just wishful thinking which leads us to the Nexus and No. 41 of my #startrek anniversary reads: "Star Trek - The Next Generation: Der Stoff aus dem die Träume sind" by @jmswallow.bsky.social ("The Stuff of Dreams")

I think this story could've used more time to unfold. Time is also a central element in #40 of my #startrek anniversary reads that doubles as a celebration of "Star Trek IV - The Voyage Home" which was released 40 years ago: "Star Trek - The Original Series: Lost to Eternity" by Greg Cox

This, and the Prometheus trilogy as a whole, was really good. So, after the first original German novels, I turn to the first audio drama as #39 of my #startrek reads: "Star Trek - Picard: No Man's Land" by Kirsten Beyer & Mike Johnson with @michellehurd.bsky.social, @jerilryan.bsky.social, et al.

It's a good time for war - but just in the Mirror Universe and in #38 of my #startrek anniversary reads: "Star Trek - The Next Generation: The Mirror War (IDW Classic Collections)" by @davidtipton.bsky.social, @scotttipton.bsky.social, @gavinpsmith.bsky.social, et al.

Seriously, this has to be a strong contender for the best Star Trek comic cover I've seen in all these years.

Unfortunately, I couldn't really get into Book 2, which is unusual for JJM works and me, but maybe the third part of the 50th anniversary trilogy and No. 31 of my 60 years of #startrek reads will be another matter: "Star Trek - Prey, Book 3: The Hall of Heroes" by @johnjacksonmiller.bsky.social
