For some, age may bring the wisdom and confidence to finally throw off the sophomoric certainties of youth, whatever indoctrination from whatever sources they may have received, and begin to think seriously, critically, about real issues, not simply take in what others suppose.

In a sense, Lord Dampnut is the joke. He's a joke low, empty, irresponsible, miserable people are having on the world. Conservative, Republican voters are laughing at us all right now. They love their little joke. They're giving one another high fives about their little joke.

True, Lord Dampnut doesn't have the wit to tell a joke, but I think conservative, Republican voters appreciate as a sort of virtual joke his entire shtick: his persona, his outrageous lies, his gaslighting, his babbling, his egotism, his greed, his misogyny, his racism, his hubris, his ignorance.

Obviously. It was simply an alternative ethical argument within the field of normative economics for those who were unconvinced the poor deserved to be poor and needed another rationale for supporting the rich. It never had much if any positive scientific basis. Storytelling.

I'd suggest conservative, Republican voters should bow their heads in shame to listen to their people spouting that garbage, but who am I kidding, they don't have the moral integrity or personal character to see any problem. They're laughing and giving one another high fives. Such disgusting people.

Now, because conservatives, Republicans cannot take responsibility for anything they do, because they're always looking to shift the blame, find a scapegoat, they're impugning the integrity of Dr. Fauci, who gave scientifically and medically sound advice as per his professional responsibilities.

Conservatives, right wingers, Republicans, like Mr. Kennedy, are such disgusting self-serving liars. The mortality rate was unusually high in the USA because conservatives, right wingers, Republicans like Lord Dampnut fought against and impaired the US response in every way. They killed thousands.

Did conservative, right wing, anti-democracy fascist and scientific nincompoop Mr. Kennedy really say the reason the USA's mortality rate for covid was so high was not Lord Dampnut's attempt to suppress information about it, his ineptness for political gain, but Dr. Fauci's recommendations?

Anti-intellectual, anti-education, anti-science conservative, Republican voters and their political representatives are a dire threat to the intellectual health and future of the USA. If you value knowledge, expertise, serious thinking of any sort, vote always against conservatives, Republicans.

That's weird. But you know how conservative, Republican voters feel about that sort of thing, right? They don't care about reality, facts, truth. They just want feel-good stories, pretense, fantasy. They've managed to murder some random foreigners -- hell yeah! -- so, you know, crime is way down ...

I would suggest that lot belongs in the same column as those who voted for Lord Dampnut and his fascist Republican Party. They're equally anti-democracy, prone to political violence and terrorism, egoistic, power mad, greedy. Let's not draw distinctions without a difference.

Did conservative, right wing, Republican fascist Leader Lord Dampnut really tell his minions he'd done more for them than their own parents had done for them, implying he was their only true Daddy? Remarkable. The used to fret about "nanny government" but forget the nanny, they want to be daddy.

Sure. Of course, given conservatives', Republicans' views on the acceptability of lying and gaslighting in politics, I suppose that have an idea of the role they would like the press, in general, to have in society, which is indoctrination, manipulation, propaganda, that sort.

The old saw about a "liberal bias" in US media was probably playing off the conservative / anti-liberal real or fake "leftist" rhetoric suppressing the meaning of liberalism and falsely equating it to conservatism / "neoliberalism," so some may have thought they were talking about conservative bias.

The point is many want alternatives, want to think outside the box of the Grand Consensus on Bad Economics in the Conservative Style that has led to so much suffering and want. Give them alternatives. Many don't know what traditional US liberalism / progressivism is. Let them talk.

I would suggest people give them a chance, see what they can do, how they work with traditional US liberalism, judge them from what they do or try to do in reality rather than the sophomoric nonsense they've sometimes spouted to one another in their oppositional enthusiasm and zeal.
