Not sure how to describe myself. I'm pushing 70 (how did that happen!?). Retired private sector and federal service employee. I'm a blue dot in a very red state. I'm a "glass half full" person, so I'm hopeful for the future. And - I'm not that "Karen". :)

I woke up to a coffee maker that wouldn't make coffee. Drove through the drive thru at Dunkin for coffee. I ordered a large latte. When I got home I discovered that I'd ended up with a "large hot macchiato with 4 caramel swirls". Now I'm caffeinated and I'm on a sugar high. Happy Friday!

I was chatting with an IT student about the coding he needed to finish for finals. I told him about the code for my COBOL final. The guy running the computer room dropped my 5" stack of punch cards after he ran them so they were now out of order. He wrote "I'm so sorry" on the greenbar printout.
