i wrote 2595 words today! happy to be productive when i spent much of the day lounging around and watching Star Trek for inspiration.

listening to 00s dad rock and trying to get into the writing mood. a lot of these songs i was actively repelled by when i was younger, but now they're very comforting and nostalgic. music absolutely transports you to another time. i think that's pretty miraculous.

baby kitten Quark is proving to be a little angel. just now, i patted his sides and he leaned into my hand each time, trying to soak up the affection. im really lucky to have such a loving furry son. im happy he adopted us 🥰
