I can see why. I took a graphic novel course in college and had my mind blown. I knew of manga but I had no idea of the international graphic novel game... 💜

Reading The Dark Knight Returns and The Watchmen started my comic/manga obsession. I had seem a Batman movie by then too.

Saving Private Ryan is such a great movie - for so many reasons. Well written, great cast, pretty accurate portrayal of war/combat and the bonds we can forge in difficult times. Probably fiction; can't see the military giving a shit how many children mothers lose in war. Definitely not now. 🪖💔

I took some small amount of solace in that those whom seemed to blow this up, I was not following. Even if AI was used, if I was bored in a hospital after intense surgery I'd try to be active on SM but I would not want to show my ragged face. But yearning for positivity, hope and interactment.
